The Artistic Bean

I’m from Atlanta, and this is my favorite coffee shop I think I’ve been to ever. I LOVE the prices, the service, the environment and aesthetic, and the diverse menu and customizability of the drinks. Really appreciate that they have craft coffees/lattes that aren’t overly sweet or artificial, like in their hot honey latte (just honey and cayenne pepper) or peanut butter cold brew (which tastes amazing without any sugar or honey added)! They also have a piano that somebody can play on to set a nice coffee shop mood, and they in-house roast their coffee beans (which they have a crazy amount of knowledge about). Super great service and experience with this one! Hoping they are able to build the business enough to expand into cities like Atlanta one day!!

I do not write reviews very often at all and when I do it is because of a really bad experience that I deem worthy of taking the time to write about or because of a really good experience or someone going above and beyond. That said, I am writing to acknowledge my great enjoyment from the coffee roasted at the Artistic Bean and also to the top notch customer service from the owner Mike. In short, my wife surprised me with this coffee as a fathers day gift 2 years ago and it immediately became my favorite drip coffee to drink (the Colombian espresso blend particularly). Just a couple of weeks ago I had ordered an assortment of the K-cup varieties offered but due to a glitch of some sort when they received my order it only showed them 1 of the 4 flavor options I had selected. So after I opened my package and seen only the Colombian blend I chose to reach out and just asked if there was an error on my end or if I misunderstood the particular directions upon checkout with my order. The owner, Mike, reached out to me apologizing for the mistake and let me know they were trying to fix the issue and that he would be roasting fresh beans that week and would send me the other blends I had requested. He was a man of his word and just a few days later I received the other 3 blends that were missing on my original order. I would have continued to drink this coffee with future purchases had he not sent the other pods, or even if he didn't respond to my email, but with top notch coffee and a top notch customer service base to match it I will most definitely continue to enjoy my favorite coffee and encourage others to give them a try. I look forward to an in person visit on our next getaway to Pigeon Forge or maybe the new upcoming location I seen posted about in Maryville!! Love this place and wish it were closer to my home so I could visit often. Townsend, TN my favorite gateway to the Smokey Mountains National Park has one of the nicest and friendliest coffee shops! The coffee is roasted in the building, and brewed by some expert baristas. I’m not sure who makes their pastries but they are delicious, and the star of the show is their avocado toast. A lovely concoction which is so simply prepared it’s sublime! The atmosphere is rich and warm, with plenty of varied seating and tables. The staff are fantastic, helpful and attentive. Stop in and enjoy a great cup of coffee in this convivial and amazing place!

Grabbed coffee and tea on our way out of town after a great weekend in the mountains. Staff was kind and created quality drinks. I got the special "Pink Drink" which was 10/10, and my husband got an Americano with steamed heavy cream. He said it was delicious coffee. Next time we are in the area, I want to come back and try some of their other specials. Tons of parking right outside. Cozy atmosphere, but we just grabbed some drinks to go so didn't stay long.

This coffee shop and in-house roasters are amazing!! I love the coffee!! It's the smoothest-tasting coffee I have ever had!! The staff is the sweetest!! It's nestled in the cozy place called Townsend Tennessee!! In the beautiful smokies! Love the friendly atmosphere! Got to hear great acoustics! Come check out this place..relax and enjoy!!

Such a cosy spot right in the heart of Townsend. Staff are so friendly and happy to chat about the place. Food is really nice. I had the bacon and cheese egg bites. Perfect for a lunch snack. I cycled and there is ample cycle spots outside.

Today's visit was much like those in the past year and very consistent. I have visited here many times over the last few years and find it's actually gotten better to me. Great espresso drinks, warm welcome and comfortable place to relax.
